SUMMARY: This role requires someone who can handle a range of accounting duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Bookkeeping & Record Keeping:
§ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts.
§ Record and categorize all financial transactions (income, expenses, payroll, etc.).
§ Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Tax Preparation & Compliance:
§ Ensure the business complies with all tax regulations, including local, state, and federal taxes.
Payroll Management:
§ Process payroll accurately and on time.
§ Maintain employee records related to wages, taxes, and benefits.
Cash Flow Management:
§ Monitor cash flow to ensure the business has sufficient funds for day-to-day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
§ Proven experience as an accountant in a small business or similar setting.
§ Proficient in English & Spanish
§ Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
§ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
