We are looking for a top-performing Account Executive to establish and expand our physician referral network. This role is designed for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, securing high-value partnerships, and creating a repeatable, scalable sales system.

Role Scorecard – What Success Looks Like

Mission Statement:

The Account Executive is responsible for acquiring and nurturing high-quality physician partnerships to drive patient referrals. Success is measured by the ability to develop and maintain profitable relationships that generate a predictable pipeline of sleep apnea patients for Everest Sleep Center.

Outcomes – What You Must Achieve in Your First Year

1. Establish 20 Physician Referral Relationships:

  • Secure relationships with 20 medical offices within the first 12 months, ensuring they generate a minimum of 3 sleep tests per week.

2. Revenue Generation:

  • Generate at least $500,000 in new revenue from referred sleep apnea patients within the first year. That is 100 conversions total.

3. Build a Scalable Sales Process:

  • Develop and document a repeatable physician outreach and conversion strategy that can be scaled nationally.

4. Maintain Referral Partner Engagement & Performance:

  • Implement a referral partner engagement system that keeps physicians committed to sending consistent patient referrals for at least 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Physician Acquisition & Referral Growth
  • Identify and cold-call, email, and visit medical offices to introduce Everest Sleep Center’s referral program.
  • Educate physicians on the benefits of oral appliance therapy as a CPAP alternative.
  • Negotiate long-term referral agreements that ensure a steady stream of patient referrals.
  • Sales Execution & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Track and manage referral conversion rates, follow-ups, and performance metrics.
  • Relationship Management & Referral Optimization
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with medical offices to ensure high referral volume & retention.
  • Provide training, materials, and customized solutions to help physicians incorporate Everest Sleep Center into their patient care workflows.
  • Market Expansion & Scaling
  • Build a referral playbook and sales process that can be used to train future sales reps as we scale.
  • Identify new growth opportunities within healthcare networks, hospitals, and multi-location practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Must-Have Experience:

  • Top 10% Performer in Sales: Proven ability to outperform peers in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • 5 Years of Sales Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales (or a proven ability to break into these markets).
  • B2B Sales & Account Management Expertise – ability to navigate corporate healthcare decision-making.
  • Track Record of Closing High-Value Contracts – skilled in negotiation, presentation, and follow-up.

Preferred But Not Required:

  • Experience selling sleep medicine-related products or services.
  • Established physician network in primary care, dentistry, or pulmonology.

Compensation & Performance-Based Pay Structure

This role is performance-driven, ensuring high earnings potential for A-players.

Base Salary: $45,000

Mileage Reimbursed

Commission & Bonuses:

1. Relationship Driven: $200 every month per physician if the physician continues to refer at least 3 sleep tests per week. 20 partners x $200 = $4000/mo

2. Conversion Driven: $200 per oral appliance sold through referred patients (first 12 months, paid upon insurance reimbursement). 20 conversions x $200 = $4000/mo

Total Expected Earnings (OTE) Year 1: $120,000 with top performers exceeding $200,000 .
