Role Overview
The Field Supervisor is a hands-on, supervisory position that involves conducting Quality Assurance Visits, ensuring DOA compliance, and providing support to caregivers assigned to elderly clients. As a key part of our management team, you’ll help maintain Everest’s reputation for excellent care and assist in strategic initiatives, with potential eligibility for performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Visits
- Perform in-home visits to elderly clients receiving DOA services, verifying compliance with state regulations and company standards.
- Document findings, address any care concerns, and ensure caregivers uphold best practices.
- Caregiver Onboarding & Training
- Introduce caregivers to new assignments, offering guidance for delivering safe, client-specific care.
- Coach and mentor caregivers on job duties, personal care techniques, and DOA policy requirements.
- Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Monitor caregiver performance and ensure alignment with Department of Aging guidelines.
- Conduct non-medical assessments to maintain client satisfaction, documentation accuracy, and accountability.
- Supply Delivery & Backup Caregiving
- Deliver necessary supplies (including PPE) to caregivers and clients.
- Step in as a backup caregiver if needed, covering shifts to guarantee continuous client care.
- Team Collaboration & Communication
- Participate in regular management meetings, sharing insights on client care and caregiver performance.
- Offer feedback to improve strategic initiatives related to elderly client services and DOA compliance.
Compensation & Pay Structure
- Hourly as a Caregiver: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
- Field Supervisor Incomplete Visit: $15 per visit
- Field Supervisor Complete Visit: $30 per visit

Qualifications & Requirements
- Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation (Required)
- Frequent travel between client homes within the Rockford area or nearby communities.
- Experience in Caregiving or Home Health (1 year preferred)
- Familiarity with elderly patient care under DOA programs is advantageous.
- Flexibility to Work Day & Evening Shifts
- Some weekends or after-hours support may be required.
- Strong Communication & Organization Skills
- Ability to document visits thoroughly, mentor caregivers, and interact professionally with elderly clients.
