This role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical expertise in compliance-driven change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the change management process for 29 applications, ensuring compliance with SOX regulations.
- Review, assess, and approve changes while ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to align change initiatives with regulatory and business objectives.
- Develop and implement change control policies, processes, and best practices to enhance compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate potential impacts of changes on system integrity and security.
- Work closely with auditors and compliance teams to provide necessary evidence and ensure adherence to SOX requirements.
- Facilitate change advisory board (CAB) meetings to review and approve change requests.
- Maintain detailed records of all changes, approvals, and implementation outcomes for audit and reporting purposes.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on SOX-compliant change management processes.
- Continuously monitor and improve change management processes to align with industry standards and regulatory updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in change management with a focus on SOX compliance.
- Strong understanding of IT change control frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing change processes for multiple applications in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira) and change management best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex changes and assess potential compliance risks.
- Experience working with auditors and regulatory teams to ensure SOX compliance.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISA, or PMP are a plus.
