Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- New and renewal business production underwriting of monoline pollution business including Site Pollution Liability, Contractors Pollution Liability, and Contractors Pollution & Professional Liability
- Adherence to underwriting authority and guidelines
- Building a profitable book of business
- Developing strong customer relationships through providing top-notch service
- Bachelor's degree or above and insurance certifications, environmental engineering/science and technical knowledge a plus
- 5 -10 years of experience in monoline pollution production underwriting, including contaminated property transactions and construction wrap-up projects
- Wholesale and retail distribution experience required with a strong broker following
- Proven ability to generate profitable new business
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to successfully complete multiple tasks concurrently within a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented, working environment
- A positive, customer-oriented approach
- Ability to travel required at least 25%.
