Everett J. Prescott, Inc., a leader for over 69 years in the waterworks industry, is seeking highly motivated professional to join our Estimating team at our company headquarters in Gardiner, Maine. The desired candidate(s) would have experience in one or more of the following disciplines: engineering, project management, estimating, or the waterworks industry.
Candidate(s) responsibilities include working in one or more specific disciplines as mentioned to support managers and sales teams by providing professional, accurate, and timely project material proposals, project tracking through CRM tools, and project management assistance to the sales force and customer base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify, monitor, and prepare project bidding documents, materials take-offs, and pricing estimates within a designated discipline throughout the organization.
· Coordinate, assist, and manage projects with sales force and customer throughout the duration of the project.
· Develop relationships with company personnel, customer base, vendors, and engineering community within your area of concentration. Overnight travel throughout the northeast will be required. Travel will be approximately 20-30%.
· Utilize and maintain CRM tool for project management and tracking.
· Assist managers and sales force with territory forecasting and budgeting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1-3-years of experience within your area of discipline, project estimating, project management, engineering, or sales.
· Civil engineering degree, or PE credentials preferred but not necessary.
· Strong communication skills and work ethic with a desire to learn.
· Ability to work in a team environment but also on an individual basis.
· Attention to details and specifics are a must.
