Team EJP has an opening for a full-time Warehouse Associate located in So. Burlington, VT. This position will include verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for daily shipment. Additional responsibilities are to maintain the yard, store merchandise, pick orders, and maintain organization of inventory throughout the yard and warehouse. This person will also be responsible for being a back-up at the counter to help with incoming customer walk-ins and help to answer customer phone calls as necessary. ESSENTIAL

- Must have a good working knowledge of product and product usage.
- Compare information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipment to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Able to receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
- Determine the best method and mode for shipment to our customer.
- Determines the labeling requirements.
- Assemble and pack product containers.
- Prepare and affix shipping labels on packed cartons or stencil identifying shipping information for cartons, skids, or other storage devices in an accurate manner, including any special labels that are customer required.
- Prepare all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Post weights and shipping charges, and affix postage when appropriate.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, preventing damage to equipment or product.
- Use forklift or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
- Operate the stretch wrap banders, tie-downs and other fastening or securing tools.
