Essential Job Functions/Duties
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of DE&I events, workshops, and training programs.
- Conduct research and compile data on DE&I trends, best practices, and benchmarking to support initiatives.
- Support the development and dissemination of DE&I communications, including newsletters, internal updates, and social media content.
- Help monitor and analyze the effectiveness of ongoing DE&I programs and initiatives, providing insights for improvement.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations on DE&I metrics, progress, and outcomes.
- Provide administrative support for DE&I projects, including scheduling meetings, managing logistics, and tracking deliverables.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to propose new ideas and strategies for advancing DE&I goals.
- Must be an undergraduate student in 3rd or 4th year of studies pursuing a degree in, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with a strong desire to learn and make a positive impact.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in DE&I, or event coordination is a plus but not required.
- Move or lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays
- Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.)
- Office environment with assigned workstation
- Laboratory environment
Salary : $17 - $19
