Duties
- Evaluate and process financial aid applications in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
- Advise students and families on financial aid options, including grants, loans, scholarships, and work-study programs.
- Conduct financial analysis to determine student eligibility for various forms of aid.
- Maintain accurate records of student accounts and financial aid disbursements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding student financial needs.
- Utilize software systems such as Anthology for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on changes in financial aid regulations and policies to provide accurate information to students.
Skills
- Strong background in financial analysis and understanding of financial services.
- Business mathematical skills for calculating aid eligibility and managing accounts.
- Knowledge of education administration practices related to financial aid processes is desireable.
