Private Event Sales Manager – Ancala Country Club

Arcis Golf is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Manager to oversee Private Event and Wedding sales efforts for Ancala Country Club is Scottsdale, Arizona!
Responsible for executing the sales process from business development to nurturing leads and closing the sale to maximize club revenue through new business and customer acquisition.
Primary Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for the development and execution of prospecting and marketing plans for the private event product line for the club
- Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and execute sales strategies through timely follow-up and activities that produce high closing rates
- Conduct tours of the club to qualified potential clients, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales
- Establish a client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts
- Represent the club at trade shows and other public forums
- Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system
- Drive lead generation through cold-calling and outside business development
- Negotiate function space and food & beverage prices ensuring confirmation and requirements in writing are shared with the client and affected departments
- Accurately forecasts revenues and tracks bookings
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 – 3 Years in Membership / Tournament sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business
- Strong prioritization, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence
- Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University preferred
