Job Summary:

The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, a premier private golf and country club, is seeking a Water Aerobics Instructor to lead high-quality aquatic fitness classes for our esteemed members. This role requires an experienced, energetic professional who can deliver engaging, results-driven workouts while maintaining the level of excellence expected at a prestigious club. The ideal candidate will be able to tailor classes to a variety of fitness levels while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead dynamic water aerobics classes that cater to members of all fitness levels, including low-impact options for seniors and high-intensity workouts for advanced participants.

• Provide a luxury-level fitness experience, ensuring each class meets the high standards of The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge.

• Guide participants through warm-ups, cardiovascular conditioning, strength exercises, and cooldowns using water resistance techniques.

• Ensure member safety and comfort, adhering to all aquatic safety protocols and facility guidelines.

• Offer personalized modifications and corrections, ensuring participants achieve optimal form and benefit from the workout.

• Foster a strong sense of community within classes, creating an engaging and enjoyable experience for club members.

• Collaborate with the fitness and aquatics team to develop innovative and seasonal class offerings.

• Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring equipment is properly set up and stored after use.

• Stay current with trends in aquatic fitness, continuously enhancing class offerings and member experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certified Water Aerobics Instructor through AEA, ACE, AFAA, or an equivalent organization.

• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (required or must be obtained upon hiring).

• Previous experience leading aquatic fitness classes in a high-end club, resort, or fitness facility preferred.

• Ability to engage and connect with members, creating a personalized and premium experience.

• Strong understanding of aquatic exercise principles, water resistance training, and safety regulations.

• Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adjust classes to accommodate member preferences, injuries, and fitness goals.

• Comfortable working in a prestigious, member-focused environment where service excellence is a priority.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Classes take place in a luxury aquatic setting with access to top-tier facilities.

• Requires standing, demonstrating exercises, and engaging with members in the pool.

• Flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on member demand.
