Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) for an overnight position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being during the night shift. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care practices, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions once certified as a CRMA
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Conduct regular checks on residents, including monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in health status.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living area, adhering to infection control protocols.
Preferred
- Certification as a Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) is required or be willing to be trained
- Experience in home care or assisted living settings
- Previous experience working with individuals with geriatrics and/or physical limitations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
