Full-Time Position – Evergreen Commons Rehab (Albany, NY)
JOB SUMMARY:
- Assist in the overall organization of the Maintenance Department.
- Actively take part in the interior and exterior maintenance of the building and grounds.
- Ground keeping
- Record keeping.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.
- Troubleshooting and repairing minor electrical, plumbing.
- Complete an average of 10 work orders per day and submitting proper paperwork.
- Must ensure adequate response time for daily maintenance requests
- Maintaining cleanliness of areas while working and communicating with the maintenance staff.
- On call for after hours, weekends and holidays call ins.
- Wall patching light carpentry/framing,
- Snow shoveling and outdoor maintenance as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Orientation training. The ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. The ability to Multi-task and is self-motivated.
High school graduate or equivalent and/or graduate of a technical school. Good physical and mental condition. HVAC experience preferred but not necessary.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be knowledgeable of general maintenance and procedures.
OTHER: Must possess the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Responsible for actively demonstrating Evergreen Commons “PRIDE” philosophy of professionalism, responsibility, integrity, dedicated service, and excellence.
