Position Summary
Provide technical and software support as it pertains to the operations of the program. Listen to the team and observe processes to provide meaningful insight and a software developer perspective on the implementation of software based enhacements. Develop and implement creative solutions to help integrate into existing software systems through automation wherever possible.
Responsibilities:
- Work to maintain and enhance existing calculator tools.
- Listen to team feedback to provide suggestions to management about software efficiencies and enhancements in order to increase process efficiencies.
- Provide a software developer perspective on software strategy discussions and planning
- Develop solutions to integrate independent tools into existing Salesforce and SharePoint systems.
- Support the team with one off software solutions as needed.
- Be a key member of our growing Intermountain West program team, along with an incredibly talented set of individuals who share a passion for processes and systems that enable Evergreen to operate most efficiently and accelerate the company’s ability to achieve its overall goals.
- Provide day-to-day end-user support.
- Stay up-to-date on software releases and potential updates related to the systems in which you work that will help to improve our system while advising the team on potential impacts.
- Create and maintain documentation on existing processes, new implementations, application configuration and related materials for users.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Job Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office VBA Development and Salesforce is preferred.
- Experience with the energy efficiency space is preferred but not required.
- Ability to plan ahead, manage time well and be available and accessible.
- Can work independently, with exceptional decision-making skills, using discretion when interacting with others and creatively thinking of better ways to do things.
Other Requirements:
- We are a fully remote telecommuting organization; must be able to work from home.
- Must be located in a state where Evergreen is an authorized employer: OR, WA, ID, WY, UT, CO, MO, WI, AR, IL, MI, CT, VT, MA. Preference will be given to candidates in the Intermountain West (ID, UT, WY)
- Drug test – must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
