Position Description: Senior Program Manager

 

As a Sr Program Manager, you will be entrusted with overall program strategy, mentorship, and support to program managers, project managers, project coordinators and administrators, field personnel and other team members. In addition to providing support and coordination for other implementation projects, program process and other managers as needed.

  • Has exceptional problem-solving skills dedicated to ensuring we deliver on our inter and external customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Strong additional to detail with the ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedules.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and respond quickly to short notice requests.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise/mentor direct reports (program/project managers)
  • Develop and execute program strategic plans and drive electrification strategies
  • Budget and invoicing management
  • Program forecasting (Budget and Savings)
  • Accountable to internal leadership team
  • Contract and client relationship management
  • Organize and run client facing meetings
  • Create reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for the client, management, or outside agencies.
  • Coordinate project and program assignments to meet internal and client needs for program implementation.
  • Provide direction for continuous improvement efforts
  • Other duties, as assigned.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or eight (8) to 10 years of experience in energy efficiency implementation of utility programs
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience taking ownership of work, doing what is required and follow through on all expectations. This required planning ahead, managing time well, and being available and accessible.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office software programs, specifically, Word, Excel, and Outlook.   Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint. 
  • Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment.
  • Executive level written and oral communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Sitting for extended periods at a computer; data entry, proficient typing.
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers (i.e. keyboarding, data entry)
  • Talking on the telephone or video conference calls for extended periods of time.
  • Speak/hear. Provide clear, accurate communication, hear telephone.

Other Requirements:

 

  • Drug Test – must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Pre-employment background check.
  • Possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A solid internet connection and a dedicated and fully equipped home office that is set up for public or client-facing virtual on-screen meetings and reliable phone.
  • Evergreen will provide a computer (programs for position included in computer setup), two monitors, monitor stand, speakers, webcam, docking station, wireless keyboard and mouse, and surge suppressor.
  • We are a fully remote telecommute organization.  This position offers a significant amount of flexibility in line with meeting responsibilities and some evening, early morning and weekend meetings and events are inherent in this position.
  • Must be located in the PNW Oregon/Washington.
