Overview
We are an infrastructure contractor located in Kremmling, Co. The majority of our work is on the east side of the county. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction projects by assisting with site preparation, maintenance, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Duties
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including the organization of tools and materials.
- Support construction management by helping with project scheduling and coordination of daily tasks.
- Utilize construction management software to track progress and report any issues that arise on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that all work is completed according to schematics and project specifications.
- Participate in pipeline installation and maintenance activities as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction and utility work is mandatory.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in using construction management software such as Primavera or Prolog is advantageous.
- Understanding of construction site operations, including the ability to read plans is a must.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members efficiently.
