Hours: M-F 8:30am-5:00pm

The Clinical Application Specialist supports the medical providers and staff at all Evergreen Family Health Group locations in effectively navigating, utilizing, and troubleshooting the office’s Electronic Health Record system, eClinicalWorks. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to proactively explore the full functionality of the EHR, identify opportunities for process improvement, and take initiative in implementing new workflows and features to maximize system efficiency and optimize patient care.

The Clinical Application Specialist supports the medical providers and staff at all Evergreen Family Health Group locations in effectively navigating, utilizing, and troubleshooting the office’s Electronic Health Record system, eClinicalWorks. Essential Job Functions
- Provides extended on-site support and/or training to staff for eClinicalWorks Electronic Health Record software
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, billing, administration, IT, management, and other associated personnel
- Troubleshoots, identifies, and corrects, any software related adjustments, functions, or problems
- Supports internal and external education courses and activities related to the clinical usage of eClinicalWorks
- Reports any problems, needs, ideas, related to product and/or techniques to the appropriate Manager
- Coordinates and conducts staff support and training activities
- Coordinates with Director of Operations and IT Department for implementation of new processes/aspects of the application
- Coordinates onboarding training for new hires with appropriate manager
- Provides product training in-person and virtually to maximize product utilization, upgrade opportunities, growth and adoption
- Supports the clinical and administrative evaluation of new products
- Serves as eClinicalWorks Application Administrator and Patient Safety Officer
- Manages eClinicalWorks ticket system
- Participates in Quality Improvement Projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience with eClinicalWorks
- Ability to travel to appropriate conferences
- Experience Troubleshooting
- 2 years Clinical setting experience
- HS Diploma Required
- Associate degree in Computer Science or Health Information Technology preferred
