Overview:
We are seeking a Experienced Wedding / Banquet Coordinator with F&B to oversee our weddings / banquet and F&B operations and ensure the seamless execution of golf outings, events and weddings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in events, weddings, front of the house, food service and customer service, with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills. The candidate will assist the F&B Manager.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet / wedding /golf outing events from start to finish
- Supervise banquet staff including servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Ensure high-quality guest service and satisfaction throughout events
- Manage banquet budgets, inventory, and ordering of supplies
- Collaborate with culinary kitchen team to create menus and ensure food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities
- Address any issues or concerns that arise during events promptly and professionally
Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in bartending, serving and beverage service
- Strong guest services orientation with excellent communication skills
- Typical banquet events are over the weekend so availability to work on weekends. Not all weekends but most weekends.
- Experience working with Weddingwire, Theknot or weddingpro.com.
- Experience working with GolfNow or any similar cloud based POS like Lightspeed, Toast, Clover.
- Knowledge of banquet operations including food handling, bussing, and food preparation
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and requests effectively
- Experience working with MS Office and 7Shifts for employee scheduling and time keeping.
