Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate - New Goods
Wage Range: $17.99-20.25
Location: Kirkland
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
About The Position
The New Goods Material Handler receives and distributes to all stores of new goods to enhance Evergreen Goodwill’s revenue stream.

Education And Experience
Certificates, Licenses, Or Registrations
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds; have developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.
Essential Mental/Sensory Abilities
Outdoors and warehouse environment, temperature varies, exposure to dust.

About The Position

- Receive deliveries and match with bill of lading.
- Match delivered items with orders.
- Distribute new goods to various stores.
- Price new goods as needed for specific stores
- Break down boxes and recycle boxes daily.
- Keep New Goods coordinator informed or all order discrepancies.
- Coordinate transportation to stores with dispatch.
- Provide backup support for the Production Department and the Warehouse.
- Consistent and safe execution of duties associated with forklift operation when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards.*
- Demonstrates safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High school graduate or equivalency preferred, but not required
- No experienced required, previous warehouse experience a plus.

- If applicable to job role: Goodwill Forklift certification optional, must meet eligibility requirements
