We are committed to creating and sustaining a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion (DEI) and are focused on creating a joyful, inclusive and successful organization.    Job Title:  Financial Analyst    Salary Range: $75,000-95,000  About the Position The Finance Analyst is responsible for conducting developing forecasting models, preparing reports, and providing recommendations that drive key business decisions. This role is essential in supporting both short-term and long-term financial planning and performance management.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on budgets, forecasts, and actual financial performance. Develop key insights into financial trends, risks, and opportunities. Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Work closely with partners to ensure accurate financial planning and accountability. Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators, for management, board meetings, and other stakeholders. Partner with leadership to provide strategic financial insights that help guide decision-making for programs, services, and operational improvements. Develop and maintain financial models to assess various business scenarios, evaluate financial impact, and forecast future performance. Support the Mission Advancement team by ensuring financial compliance with grant requirements and preparing financial statements on programs. Perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of current programs and operational expenditures. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in D365 and Solver systems, including financial reporting, data integrity, and operational efficiency. Work closely with teams across the organization, including operations, development, and People & Culture, to provide financial guidance and promote financial literacy within the organization. Promote and uphold safe work practices through awareness, training, and reporting of potential hazards. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.   Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive financial analysis experience. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Prior experience in nonprofit accounting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of and experience with D365, Solver, and Power BI. Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide actionable insights Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to learn new technologies. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.   Essential Mental/Sensory Abilities: Problem-solving, organizing, categorizing, and analyzing data. Strong attention to detail, prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills. Foster an environment of initiative, communication, accountability, and excellence.   Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Office-based role with moderate noise levels. Requires sitting for long periods, lifting up to 10 pounds, and frequent use of computers. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, such as typing and using a mouse. Visual acuity for close/distance tasks and data accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
