Time Commitment: Just 2-4 hours (mostly remote) leading up to the event, plus 4-8 hours of fun-filled engagement on the event day (weekend).

Unleash Your Technical Skills!As our Event Audio Visual Technician, you’ll be the go-to person for all things tech-related! Your mission will be to manage the projector and microphones during live events, assist speakers with their laptops, and monitor audio to create an unforgettable experience for our attendees.
Your Adventure Awaits: Responsibilities
- Be the Tech Wizard: Set up and operate projectors and microphones, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Connect & Collaborate: Work closely with speakers to assist with their laptops and any technical needs they may have during presentations.
- Monitor Audio: Keep an ear on microphones and music to ensure smooth transitions and optimal sound quality throughout the event.
- Be the Go-To Guru: Act as the main technical support during the event, ready to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Reflect and Shine: After the event, share your insights in a feedback session to help us grow and improve!
What We’re Looking For:
- A commitment to just one event.
- Availability for 2-4 hours of mostly remote planning in the week before the big day, plus 4-8 hours of tech engagement on a weekend.
- You will need to attend a mandatory online training session to get you ready!
Your Skill Set:
- Basic technical skills and familiarity with audio-visual equipment, such as projectors and microphones.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues on the fly.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with speakers and event organizers.
- Previous experience with audio-visual equipment is a plus, but not required—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!

About Evergreen Hearts
Evergreen Hearts is an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to empowering individuals in non-traditional relationships to thrive and create their envisioned lives. We offer educational events focusing on polyamory and non-monogamy, covering essential topics such as personal development, relationship dynamics, and effective communication. We also host social events and maintain a vendor booth at festivals to raise awareness about polyamory.
