Houseperson/ Housekeeping
When a guest walks into a hotel, the guest is wow’ed by the cleanliness and sparkle of the lobby and other areas of the hotel. A Houseperson is who makes all that happen. The Houseperson is responsible for keeping common areas of the hotel clean, making a guest feel welcome.
Houseperson Responsibilities:
- Clean lobby, public bathrooms, and other common areas of the hotel
- Vacuum hallways and mop floors
- Clean tabletops in lobby and other common areas
- Remove trash from lobby and other common areas
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed
Requirement
- Previous cleaning, janitorial experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Regularly moving, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holiday
