JOB SUMMARY:
Evergreen is a full-service Lawn Care and Landscaping company. From scheduled mowing, trimming and fertilizing to landscaping, mulching, aerating, dethatching, sod installation and more. We also do leaf cleanups in the fall and plow snow in the winter. We are a local family owned and operated company with 30 years of experience.
We are currently accepting applications to join our team. This position is full time from Spring through Fall. Snow Removal work is available in the Winter months.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE SHOULD:
- Be hard working, friendly,self-motivated, detail-oriented and enjoy working outside.
- Be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Be able to walk long distances
- Be able to take direction and have the desire and skills to grow into a leadership role
- Have a clean driving record and have transportation to and from work daily
- Pass a background and drug test
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate vehicles and power equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, saws, trimmers or axes
- Trim trees, shrubs or hedges, using shears, pruners or chain saws.
- Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds.
- Rake, mulch and compost leaves.
- Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools
- Maintain neat and clean vehicles, shop and equipment
- Complete paperwork daily
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
$20.00 per hour starting rate depending on amount of experience
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in Lawn Care or Landscaping or Pesticide Application
