Cashier/Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure an appealing store layout.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and encourage sales.
• Supervise and train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
• Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and services offered.
