YOUR ROLE
As a Director, Advanced Analytics with Evergreen Nephrology, you will collaborate with Senior Leadership including the Chief Actuary and Operations leaders to lead a team in the analysis and interpretation of both clinical and payor data. Your programming experience in SAS, SQL, or python, and analytic skills will help develop new products, provide analytics and clinical outcomes reporting to our customers, and supply data-driven insights to our clinical teams.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Work independently to analyze and interpret healthcare utilization and financial data to address business questions regarding population health management, health and economic outcomes, quality of healthcare, and product design.
- Use SAS, SQL, Python and Tableau to report on healthcare utilization trends and financial savings derived from the Evergreen Nephrology program.
- Work with clinical and finance teams to understand and evaluate the drivers of quality, engagement, and utilization in our membership cohort.
- Track issues with reports, including defects in logic, data quality problems, and process errors.
- Assist with analytics for new products, clinical interventions, market and national leadership, and customers.
- Support analytical research projects using your statistics and predictive modeling skills.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
- A Master’s degree in data science, statistics, public health, mathematics, economics, or epidemiology is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of health care industry experience is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience programming in SAS, SQL, or python is required.
- Experience using statistical methods to evaluate healthcare claims data and experience with reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
