POSITION
Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Location: Tacoma/Puyallup
POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator plans, organizes, directs and develops marketing and patient outreach to achieve short range and long-range business development objectives. This individual is responsible for managing communications, media, and advertising to effectively and positively represent the practice and its services to patients, referral partners, and the community. This position is a three day a week position (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) with the focus on marketing and engaging with dentist offices. Reliable transportation and a willingness to go out and visit new and existing referring providers building strong relationships is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for implementing and running our offices marketing program to dental offices and community
- You will have fun creating delivery ideas that will delight and surprise our referring dental offices and be a liaison between us and them, building strong relationships
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative dental marketing campaigns
- Planning and implementing internal team building activities, surprises for our team, new campaigns for internal activities based on the office needs and carry them out accordingly
- Assist with planning office study club operation/continuing education meetings hosted by our office
- Assist with designing educational content, brochures, flyers, and other dental marketing material
- Managing social media platforms of the practice
- Create, prepare, and develop marketing plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.
- Creates new business opportunities through partner relationship programs.
- Understands goals and benchmarks as set by the Practice and develops specific plans to meet them.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of each department functions and services in order to promote specific objectives.
- Manages and updates the practice’s website and internet media.
- Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies.
- Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.
- Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.
- Initiates, leads, and directs new business proposals and efforts to carry through.
- Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards.
- Travel, by car, is required.
- Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.
- Meet regularly with Office Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in the dental field is necessary, one year (Required)
- Willingness to travel
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Ability to establish relationships with other dental practices
- Friendly and open to connect with new people
- Organized, motivated, committed, and self-directed.
- Is emotionally and mentally mature, able to engender trust, and always ready to listen.
- Increases knowledge and skills through self-study and by attending courses and seminars.

- Competent in content design including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

- Must excel in forward thinking to anticipate the needs of the doctor as well as challenges for the practice.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in related field. Comparable experience may be considered to substitute for all or part of the required education at management’s sole discretion.
- Two years of marketing and development experience
- Experience with design software
- At least one year of experience in the dental field
- Solid computer skills, including Excel, MS Office
