Nurse Supervisor
Evergreen Place is a non-profit aging care assisted living community. This position takes ownership/oversight of the clinical/administrative functions required to meet our clinical responsibilities under our 805 regulations.
The full-time equivalents on 3 shifts are between 9 to 15 people depending on census.
Great communication is a must! Team management experience is a must! Able to deal with a diverse group of people and backgrounds. Responsible for reinforcing policy and establishing boundaries among the team to maintain an ethical and fair environment within which the nursing team excels.
Primary responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, residents, families, medical providers, vendors and community groups.
- Ensure that everyone delivers quality support to residents by providing outstanding assistance with activities of daily living in accordance with Federal, State and Local standards and regulations. Sets a high quality example by rolling up sleeves to get the job done.
- Knowledge and enforcement of NH Code of Administrative Rules - Supported Asssisted Living Regulations; He-P 805.
- Schedule, recruit, direct and delegate nursing staff.
- Provide prospective residents with a clinical assessment for admission to and exit from Evergreen Place.
- Works 8 or 12 hours shifts when necessary and is fully present as part of the nursing team.
Requirements:
1. Valid nursing license.
2. Two (2) years of experience in a management role, preferably in a long-term care community.
3. Excellent communication, organization, and management skills.
4. Takes time to interact with staff/residents; rolls up sleeves and pitches in when needed.
5. Standard Office Software.
