MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
LOCATION : York Elementary School
REPORTS TO : Building Principal / School Nurse
DEPARTMENT : Elementary / Secondary
Hours / Work Times
1 Hour Per Day (11 : 45 a.m. - 12 : 45 p.m.) Regular Days
1 Hour Per Day (11 : 00 a.m. - 12 : 00 p.m.) Early Release Days
190 Days Per Year (180 student days / 10 holidays)
A valid First Aid / CPR card must be submitted to Classified Personnel within 45 days of hire. Only courses with a "hands-on" component taught by a certified instructor are acceptable.
This position will remain open until a qualified applicant is selected. The earliest date a recommendation for hire may be submitted is after 01 / 14 / 25.

SUMMARY STATEMENT :
The medication administration staff assistant is responsible for the administration of oral medications to students, under the training, direction, and supervision of the school nurse, and in accordance with District policy and State law. The medication administration staff assistant reports to the building principal for day-to-day supervision.
