The Maintenance Manager will define, plan, and lead all equipment and facilities maintenance activities while managing costs within the budget. This individual will be a high-energy, self-starter with the ability to lead and develop a team, while managing and completing projects with minimal guidance and supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interface across multiple levels of the organization are a must.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Promote safety as the most important value in all maintenance activities.
- Direct work assignments and set priorities for 24x7 production operations.
- Ensure effective and proactive communication of maintenance activities including :
Preventative Maintenance completion rate.
Work order closeout rate.Downtime root causes and suggested improvements.Continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance plan.Identified machine or procedural issues.Maintenance team cross training matrix.Manage implementation of preventative maintenance ensuring work is safely, correctly, completely, and promptly completed.Implement 6S culture in maintenance and support areas.Ensure that all required recordkeeping is completed timely and accurately.Provide direct "hands on" assistance to employees as needed.Contribute as a member of the plant leadership team to drive the plant forward in areas of safety, quality, and productivity improvements.Effectively support our 24 / 7 operation.Employee Development & Management :
Develop maintenance team, identify areas to improve in team members, schedule training and classes to improve weaknesses, maintain team cross training matrix, utilize matrix to have proper support on all shifts.Establish individual performance expectations, conduct regular employee performance reviews, and effectively coach and provide feedback to employees.Conduct / schedule training for maintenance staff and operators on equipment as necessary.Experience and Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Technical school training or engineering degree preferred
5-7 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.3-5 years of supervisory / leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.Strong organizational and project management skills.Working knowledge of and past maintenance experience inelectrical (480V / 3 phase and 120V power distribution systems).

Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.Salary Description
