What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Manager position at Evergreen Refreshments?
Our Equipment Manager will oversee the ordering, maintenance, prepping, inventory control, transportation, and storage of all field equipment and parts used by the company.
Our goal is to exceed our client’s expectations, while executing our company’s initiatives.
Key Working Relationships:
At the branch level, this role will work with our operations and sales teams in 3 locations to ensure our initiatives and equipment needs are met. This role reports directly to the Tumwater Branch Manager and is responsible for effective communication across all company branches.
What you'll be doing :
· Building relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing on equipment.
- Managing inventory of all equipment in house, ensuring appropriate par levels are kept. This includes parts, filters, or any ancillary items related to our field equipment.
- Creating placement and staging layouts of all field-ready equipment, ensuring the setup is as efficient as possible.
- Overseeing Shop, Field Technician, and Installation teams.
- Demonstrating the technical aptitude to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.

You will be trusted to:
- Ensure timelines for equipment prep, repairs, and maintenance are adhered to and as efficient as possible.
- Oversee in-house repairs ensuring they are effective, efficient, and that best practices are being adhered to.
- Oversee the cleaning of all equipment, ensuring it is field ready.
- Provide final oversight for quality of all equipment leaving for client locations (field-ready equipment,) before it is sent.
- Stay up to date with industry evolution and speak to new equipment offered by our trusted vendors.
- Lead weekly meetings with shop, field service technician, and Installation teams.
- Manage the installation calendar for WA customers.
- Manage quality control processes for equipment being prepared for in field use.
Will apply leadership on:
- Transportation - make sure appropriate equipment is ready to leave facility and that everything that needs to be sent, is accounted for. Additionally, be prepared to receive equipment and manage appropriately.
- Storage – ensure the storage, placement, and staging of all field-ready equipment is as efficient and organized as possible.
- Liquidation – provide insight into which equipment no longer serves our needs, and what the best financial and logistical options are, so that the company can make the right decision.
- Operations - Help develop best practices in all of these areas. * Stay up to date on industry trends and present equipment cases appropriately.

Pay: $59,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
