Position Summary:
The Facility Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community, ensuring compliance with all regulations, providing strong leadership to staff, and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion. This individual will manage budgets, staffing, resident care, and family relations — all while creating a safe, supportive environment where residents can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all operational aspects of the assisted living facility.
Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department managers and staff.
Promote a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages high-quality care.
Oversee resident admissions, care planning, and family communications.
Manage financial operations including budgeting, billing, expense control, and occupancy goals.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for inspections and audits.
Serve as a liaison with families, residents, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies.
Respond promptly to resident or family concerns, providing solutions with compassion and professionalism.
Ensure residents receive personalized care that respects their dignity, preferences, and independence.
Oversee health assessments, medication management, and coordination of medical services.
Provide occasional transportation for residents to medical appointments using company vehicles.
Plan recreational activities, outings, and social events to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Address any facility repairs promptly.
Develop and implement emergency protocols to safeguard residents during crises.
Be the voice when making decisions related to care, services, and quality of life for our residents.
Required Skills/Abilities:

In-depth knowledge of assisted living regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Financial and budget management experience.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to move throughout the facility and interact with residents and staff.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Ability to respond to emergencies, including occasional evenings/weekends as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (required).
Prior experience in healthcare administration, senior living, or a similar role.
Valid driver’s license required; ability to obtain a chauffeur’s license.
Management: 5 years (Required)
