Evergreen Solutions 4U, Inc, a Green Seal, and SWaM certified, single source maintenance, service, and janitorial/facility solutions company is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a full time Workplace Efficiency and 5S Specialist for a customer in Leesburg, VA.
Job Summary:
The Facility Organization Specialist/5S Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving workplace organization through the application of 5S methodologies. This position will focus on tool management, workstation optimization, and ensuring a consistently clean and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tools, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating organized and productive spaces.
This position reports to Evergreen's Maintenance Site Assistant that oversees maintenance at all data centers within the customer’s NOVA Region.
Responsibilities:
- 5S Implementation & Maintenance:
- Conduct regular 5S audits and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain 5S standards and procedures.
- Ensure consistent adherence to 5S principles across all work areas.
- Tool Management:
- Organize and maintain tool storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
- Implement and manage tool control systems (e.g., shadow boards, tool cribs).
- Conduct tool inventories and track tool usage.
- Identify and recommend improvements to tool storage and management practices.
- Maintain and repair tools as needed.

- Driver's License
- Basic electrical, mechanical, and maintenance skills/knowledge
- Forklift Operation
- Workplace Organization
