Evergreen Therapeutic Treatment Centers is a day-treatment program where kids attend to enhance the skills needed to succeed in the home, in school and in society. Evergreen's Behavior Intervention Specialists work with our clients in a classroom environment to provide direct care throughout the day. Many of the clients we serve experience severe symptoms of mental health and are in need of more intensive levels of care. Behavior Intervention Specialists run treatment groups and work collaboratively with community treatment teams to develop and implement master treatment plans to help us provide our clients with the best treatment possible while they attend our program.

Requirements:
Intervention Specialist must have the ability to verbally de-escalate youth who often experience acute symptoms of mental illness, complete verbal de-escalation and physical intervention training and show adequate skills in these areas. Behavior Intervention Specialists also must display strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and they must have the ability to work with a team.

Preferred:*
- Bachelor's Degree in mental health or closely related field
- Experience and/or training working with child/adolescents with severe emotional disturbances
