Auto Repair Service and Sales Advisor / Front Desk Position

Evergreen Tire and Auto Repair is looking for a motivated Service Writer & Sales Advisor to join our team! If you have great customer service skills, a knack for explaining automotive services, and strong organizational abilities, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair options.
• Communicate vehicle issues and repair recommendations clearly.
• Work closely with technicians to diagnose issues, prepare accurate repair estimates and ensure timely service.
• Prepare invoices and ensure proper documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage service workflows efficiently to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records of customer interactions and repairs.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure a positive experience for every client.
• Provide excellent customer service to build lasting relationships.

Requirements:

• Basic mechanical knowledge (doesn’t have to be extensive but must understand automotive basics).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in a way customers can understand, with patience and professionalism.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry and sales is a plus.
• Experience with Tekmetric is also a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Compensation & Training:

• Pay is DOE (Depends on Experience) and is hourly.
• Starting salary is based solely on experience and demonstrated knowledge and skills after a two-week work interview.
• There is a probationary/training period to ensure the right fit and allow for skill development.
• Base hourly pay with monthly sales commission/bonuses after probationary/training period.
• The two-week job interview is paid.
