Title: Compensation Analyst
Hybrid - 2 days/week at our Corporate office in Georgetown
This is a salaried, exempt position.

Job Summary:
The Compensation Analyst supports ETS's mission by managing and evaluating the organization's compensation strategies to ensure equity and competitiveness. This role researches job requirements, assesses market trends, and designs effective compensation programs in collaboration with HR, finance, and other stakeholders.
What you contribute to this role – Responsibilities:
Compensation Analyst Responsibilities
- Help ETS succeed in carrying out our mission through working together with other staff to Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed by incumbents.
- Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions reflecting organizational roles.
- Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate classifications and salary ranges.
- Benchmark salaries against market data to establish competitive compensation packages.
- Analyze and present compensation recommendations to leadership based on data.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state compensation laws and regulations.
- Review and revise compensation policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HR and finance to assess the financial impact of compensation decisions.
- Prepare and maintain job classifications, salary scales, and summary reports.
- Research and recommend updates to employee benefits based on industry trends.
- Conduct focus groups to gather feedback on benefits and compensation strategies.

Requirements
What you bring to this role – Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or similar role.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expertise in job evaluation, classification, and compensation cycle management.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for complex data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Knowledge of federal and state compensation regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Progressive focused regarding compensation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Additional Essential Information:
Physical Conditions and Requirements:
- Office setting with options for remote work. Minimal travel may be required.
- The employee may be exposed to illicit drug residues and fumes or other bio-hazardous materials when carrying out job functions. There is also potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens. ETS will provide employees with appropriate training to limit the risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Policies and procedures are in place addressing each item specifically.
- The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, and kneel; occasionally to climb balance, or stoop; rarely to crouch or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, color, and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

- Computer, photocopier, fax machine, and phone.
- Possible use of a program vehicle, for which a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving would be required.
