About The Role
As the Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, you will be a key member of the Evergreen team, reporting to the Director of Organic Marketing. You’re a data-driven team player responsible for managing the strategy and cross-channel execution and experimentation of our email, SMS, and push notification programs. You’re a growth hacker in your own right and you find your flow within marketing automation tools such as Braze.
What You'll Do
- Work within Braze to manage multi-part marketing campaigns with email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messages, content cards to engage new and existing customers across their lifecycle
- Have a clear understanding of the customer database in order to build accurate and personalized automated journeys including advanced segmentation, automation triggering, and cross-channel message execution
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for all things lifecycle marketing
- Own the lifecycle creative process beginning to end: ideation, copywriting, compliance approvals, building and launching.
- Own the creation of our lifecycle marketing content calendar using a project management tool and making sure all initiatives stay on track
- Lead lifecycle testing agenda by setting up advanced multivariate experiments
- Manage our agency partner to create and implement creative assets
- Collaborate with wider Evergreen team to support operational customer communication requirements
- Deploy retention strategies to limit customer churn and maximize LTV
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and uphold data governance standards to ensure Evergreen remains compliant
- Work with Product and Operations teams to triage requests, gather requirements, and then drive the development process, including set-up & build, QA, deployment, and measurement of initiatives
- 5 years experience with email marketing and automation operations, 3 years in Braze or similar (required)
- Advanced understanding of email marketing and operational automation strategies (push notifications, automated funnel optimization, campaign planning and execution, etc.)
- Proven approach to experimentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-growth team, with the ability to project manage multiple cross-functional projects
- Exceptional team player - the role requires cooperation with your team members and other departments and roles at Evergreen
- Strong communication skills - highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Experience in consumer finance is a plus.
