What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Partnerships & Alliances position at Evergreen?
About this Role:
As the Director, Partnerships & Alliances, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with major technology players such as major cloud hyper-scalers (Google, Microsoft, AWS) and other prominent technology product companies (Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce). You will be responsible for creating and executing against growth plans, developed jointly with our most strategic partners and sales leadership. You will be required to collaborate closely with Evergreen’s Practice leadership to align our services strategies with our partners’ solutions, ensuring that our team meets the required certifications to achieve or maintain premium partnership status. This role is a revenue generating position, and collaboration with the Evergreen and Insight Global sales team to drive partner aligned offerings and co-sale motions will be a key to your success.
What You'll Do:
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with our business goals and priorities
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements with new and existing partners
- Manage and grow partnership revenue through pipeline development activities in partnership with sales
- Partner with marketing to develop and implement campaigns which promote our service offerings in alignment with partners’ solutions
- Define and manage Evergreen’s partner landscape and roadmap, including associated go-to-market strategies for co-sell and channel sales motions
- Own the performance and impact of partnerships, identifying areas for improvement and growth
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to partnerships
- Build and mentor a team of partnership managers, incubating new revenue streams and capabilities for the company
- Educate our sales teams (the “field”) on partner’s offerings and Evergreen’s related services
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in the technology sector
- Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships with leading technology companies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of current market trends and competitor activities in the technology sector
- Experience in building and leading a team
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
