Production-Recycling Sorter- Entry Level

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sorter to join our team. As a Sorter, you will be responsible for sorting and organizing materials in an efficient and timely manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Sort and separate materials based on specific criteria
- Operate heavy equipment such as front loader trucks, forklifts, and roll-off trucks
- Fabricate and dig through materials to identify recyclable items
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials onto trucks
- Clean and sanitate work area to maintain a safe and organized environment
- Perform heavy lifting as required

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently sort materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of garbage truck operations is a plus
