Job Summary
Responsible for delivery and pick up of clean/sterile and soiled equipment/supplies. Supports the CS Technicians in non-technical tasks and assembles surgical case carts for the operating room, and family maternity area.
Primary Duties:
- Learns the location and description of medical supplies and equipment: Delivers items to the customers as they're requested, rapidly and in a timely manner. Prepares and delivers case carts to FMC and O.R.
- Keeps clean equipment and procedural carts put away in the proper storage place as it comes from the decontamination room and cart washer.
- Puts away returned supplies in the proper storage place.
- Operates equipment: Cart Washer as required when assisting technicians (may load and unload).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED for the position:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Good organizational skills, follow through
- Ability to work with multiple interruptions
- Current Washington State Driver’s license and proof of insurability
- Related experience in a healthcare environment
