Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments in a hotel or similar environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and launder linens, towels, and garments according to established standards.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort, fold, and store clean laundry items in designated areas.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and perform necessary dry cleaning procedures when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following proper sanitation protocols.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies while performing all duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
