About the Role:
We are seeking a House Attendant to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. You will work closely with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are kept in top condition.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hotel or resort setting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to speak multiple languages
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens
- Restock guest room supplies, such as towels and toiletries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Skills:
As a House Attendant, you will utilize your attention to detail and time management skills to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. You will also use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage and disposal methods will be beneficial in this role. Additionally, the ability to speak multiple languages will be an asset in providing excellent service to our diverse clientele.
