Everi is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer to develop applications for our Mobile/Web Development team. This is an onsite position at our FinTech Innovation Center in Las Vegas, NV.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Front-End Development: Build fast, responsive, and visually appealing web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and modern JS frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Back-End Development: Develop efficient, scalable, and reliable back-end services with Node.js and frameworks like ExpressJS or KoaJS.
- Asynchronous Programming: Utilize Node.js asynchronous programming models to handle real-time applications, ensure performance optimization, and manage high volumes of concurrent requests.
- API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications.
- Design Pattern: Strong application design using microservice architecture and coding skills and experience in applying modern design patterns.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable code and implement unit tests, integration tests, and use automated testing frameworks as part of the development process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to build high-quality features and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Version Control: Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members through Git workflows.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software Development, or other technical / science field preferred.
- 3 years of professional experience in web full stack development, with a strong focus on back-end and front-end technologies
- Strong experience with Node.js and asynchronous programming patterns (callbacks, promises, async/await), with familiarity in building server-side applications using ExpressJS or KoaJS
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with solid experience in at least one modern JS framework (preferably Angular)
- Experience in working with SQL and/or No-SQL databases.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and understanding of HTTP, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and web security best practices.
- Understanding of web application performance optimization, such as lazy loading, caching, code splitting, and reducing load times.
- Experience in writing testable codes and using unit test tools like Chai, Mocha and Just.
- Should have a problem-solving mindset: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to debugging and troubleshooting
- Experience with front-end build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and server-less architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
