Everi is currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer for our growing Games Data Team.
As a Data Engineer in Everi Games division, you will build scalable and highly optimized data infrastructures and pipelines using Azure and Databricks. You will be working with various business stakeholders to help them with their data needs. You will also collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to build real-time streaming APIs for machine learning applications with data from thousands of connected IoT devices. What Will You Be Doing?
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and construct robust, scalable data processing and integration pipelines.
- Utilize Azure cloud services to develop and maintain an environment for data processing and analytics.
- Leverage Databricks and Apache Spark for big data processing and to enable real-time streaming capabilities.
- Implement and maintain IoT data integrations with tools like Splunk, ensuring accurate and real-time data availability.
- Conduct parallel processing techniques to optimize data workflows and minimize latency.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability as well as maintain data quality through best practices.
- Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Manage version control using Git, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Build and deploy ETLs through Azure DevOps Pipelines.
