NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer, Azure to work onsite in Orange, CT with our global client.
Responsibilities:
- Join an exciting project with our Utility client to support their cloud landscape to design, develop, and implement a scalable and reliable platform architecture.
- Manage and maintain Azure data platform infrastructure, to include provisioning, configuring, and monitoring Azure data services.
- Monitor platform health and performance to ensure it is running smoothly, efficiently and securely.
- Provide support to data engineers, analysts and other users of the platform.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines by developing and optimizing ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other relevant services.
- Automate data platform operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Develop and manage data storage solutions.
- Implement data governance and security
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in system administration with Azure.
- Experience with data security and data access controls.
- Expertise in Azure Platform as a Service (PAAS) model and integrations.
- Extensive knowledge in firewalls, operating systems, web services, networking, and the cloud.
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles and best practices.
- Proven application of critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS system administration.
- Experience with Microstrategy, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and/or Informatica PC.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with leading and mentoring teams
- Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
