NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a SD-WAN Network Engineer to work remotely with our global client in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Join an exciting project in supporting our client's IT Network and Telecommunication team, focusing in SDWAN.
- Manage and maintain the client's network infrastructure.
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams across various regions (Spain, U.S., and Mexico).
- Work extensively with the following technologies:
- SDWAN (the cornerstone technology for this role).
- Network security tools, such as firewalls and proxies.
- Routing protocols, including EIGRP and BGP.
- Switching technologies.
- SNMP for network management.
- Dynamic VPN solutions.
- MPLS systems.
- Oversee and document network systems, including creating Visio diagrams, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of ongoing activities through weekly status reports, incident reports, logs, and other relevant documentation.
- Proven experience in network engineering, particularly in SDWAN implementation and troubleshooting.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated expertise with the following technologies:
- SDWAN
- Network security tools such as firewalls and proxies.
- Routing protocols, including EIGRP and BGP.
- Switching technologies.
- SNMP for network management.
- MPLS systems.
- Dynamic VPN solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet devices and Cisco IOS/NXOS technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Fortinet and Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
- CCNA certification or higher
