An EDI coordinator is an information technology professional who works with an organization’s electronic data interchange (EDI) program or system, ensuring communications run smoothly. The duties include monitoring incoming and outgoing data or documents, testing and auditing the system for issues, and implementing improvements. The EDI coordinator is responsible for managing electronic data interchange processes, maintaining trading partner relationships, and ensure accurate data in customer accounts. Edi coordinators also identify and correct computer system flaws, work with order processing managers, and serve as a primary liaison for corporate issues. Our coordinator is the first point of contact, reaching out to all parties who share data on the interchange to resolve issues. The position also invoices customers via various electronic and manual systems. Must be able to successfully interact remotely with other EDI personnel and internally with accounting, shipping and sales personnel.
The successful candidates primary qualifications for getting a job as an EDI coordinator with Everlast is a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience working with electronic data interchange systems. They ideally possess skills in DB2, XML, AS2, and ANSI X12 EDI transactions. Excel and MS word are helpful as well.
