Manufacturing Supervisor
Overview
The Manufacturing Supervisor manages a team of workers, coordinates daily activities, and implements strategies to optimize productivity and quality. They will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of production operations.
*Must have supervisor and machine operating experience*
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of machine operators, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Adhere to production expectations and efficiencies.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and high morale.
- Ensure that all production processes follow company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
- Communicate status and any issues to management regularly.
- Assist in managing packaging materials inventory, ensuring that supplies are stocked and organized.
- Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
