Manufacturing Laborer
Overview:
The Manufacturing Laborer will assist with various production tasks, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure that production processes run smoothly. As a Manufacturing Laborer, you will support the production team by handling materials, operating basic machinery, and performing other general labor duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform production tasks according to instructions and standards.
- Inspect products and materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow quality control procedures and report any deviations to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, cleaning, and removing debris.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions.
- Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Work effectively with other team members to meet production goals.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor and collaborate to find solutions.
- Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
- Perform any duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Forklift experience preferred.
