Part-Time Assistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our team in providing high-quality education and care for children for a few hours each morning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young learners, particularly in a daycare or preschool setting.

Hours

7:00am-9:30am

Responsibilities

• Provide care for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage children in educational activities that foster their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Help prepare breakfast for the children.

Skills

• Experience in toddler care, daycare, or childcare settings is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
