Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations at Sandy's Pub, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policies.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all food and beverage areas, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Manage staff schedules and oversee payroll, optimizing labor to meet business needs and financial goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for orders, minimizing waste and ensuring product quality.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the department's budget, forecasting expenses, and working to maximize profitability.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Support in marketing initiatives and special events to increase foot traffic and sales at Sandy’s Pub.
- Oversee daily financial transactions, including cash handling, credit card payments, and end-of-shift reports.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines; valid Food Handler’s Certificate and RBS Certification required.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize operational efficiency.
- High school diploma required; a two- or four-year degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs.
